Gwinnett County in northeast Georgia is one of the most diverse counties in the southeast. Minority groups are a majority of the population there.

The Gwinnett County Commission only has white members, but this year, one African-American candidate is trying to change that. Sam Whitehead of Here & Now contributor Georgia Public Broadcasting has the story.
