Two days before FBI Director James Comey came forward to say the agency was investigating new emails related to Hillary Clinton's private server, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani mentioned on Fox News that he thought Donald Trump might have a surprise or two in the coming days.

Giuliani later explained that he had no heads up about Comey's big reveal, and was instead talking about an advertising campaign.

To unpack Giuliani's connections to the FBI and what's next for the bureau, Here & Now's Robin Young is joined by investigative journalist and author Wayne Barrett.

Guest

Wayne Barrett, investigative journalist who has written books on Rudy Giuliani and a biography of Donald Trump. He tweets @BarrettNation.

This segment aired on November 7, 2016.
