Longtime NPR reporter and essayist Alice Furlaud has died at the age of 87.

Furlaud reported for NPR from Paris for many years, before moving with her husband Max to Cape Cod, where she continued to report and produce essays for Weekend Edition and other NPR shows.

Here & Now's Robin Young remembers Furlaud's life and work.
