Legal scholar Douglas Kmiec (@dougkmiec) of Pepperdine University School of Law joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch's legal record and why he thinks Gorsuch should be confirmed.

Kmiec said he thinks Gorsuch will be more like centrist Justice Anthony Kennedy than conservative justices Clarence Thomas or Samuel Alito.

This segment aired on February 1, 2017.
