Reporter Janelle Lilley (@katvjanelle) joins Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti to discuss the latest developments in the state of Arkansas' plan to execute eight death-row inmates by the end of the month, when one drug used in the executions expires.

On Wednesday one of the inmates won a last-minute stay, and a district court blocked the state from using a different drug for the executions. Another inmate is scheduled to be put to death Thursday night.

This segment aired on April 20, 2017.
