Kevin Hines became one of the few people to survive a leap off the Golden Gate Bridge when he attempted suicide in 2000 at the age of 19.

Now he's become an advocate for mental health issues and suicide prevention. We revisit a conversation Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson had with Hines (@KevinHinesStory) in 2014.

This segment aired on May 1, 2017.
