Trump Looks To Private Sector To Help Build Infrastructure

Officials from President Trump's administration have said they will release more details of a $1 trillion plan to overhaul the nation's infrastructure soon. One of the ways Trump has indicated he might finance that work is through public-private partnerships.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with Eduardo Engel, a professor of economics at the University of Chile who has studied public-private partnerships, about the advantages and risks of building infrastructure with private support.
