Roger Ailes, the longtime chairman and CEO of Fox News, has died at 77.

Ailes helped found the network in 1996, and is largely credited with its growth and success. But he was forced out last summer after more than two dozen women — including high-profile anchors Gretchen Carlson and Megyn Kelly — accused him of sexual harassment.

Here & Now's Robin Young talks with NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik (@davidfolkenflik) about Ailes' life and legacy.

This segment aired on May 18, 2017.
