President Trump responded Thursday morning to reports that the special counsel appointed to investigate his campaign's possible ties to Russian election meddling is now also focusing on whether the president attempted to obstruct justice.

Trump tweeted about it this morning, calling the development a "witch hunt." NPR's Carrie Johnson (@johnson_carrie) joins Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti to discuss the latest.
