June 20, 2017: Hour 1

In hour one of Here & Now's June 20, 2017 full broadcast, voters head to the polls Tuesday for two special elections, one in South Carolina and one in Georgia. We get an update on the closely watched race for Georgia's 6th Congressional District from Bradley George of Here & Now contributor Georgia Public Broadcasting. Also, this week marks eight years since the death of Michael Jackson. We look back at some of his music with KCRW's Anthony Valadez. And only 43 of President Trump's nominees for government positions have been approved, and more than 100 are awaiting confirmation.
