Federal Reserve Board Lacks Governors As Trump Weighs Replacement For Janet Yellen

The future of the world’s most important central bank is up for grabs. A third seat on the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors goes vacant this week when Stanley Fischer steps down this Sunday, but the Trump administration has not nominated anyone to fill those positions.

Meanwhile Trump is expected to make a decision soon about whether or not to keep Janet Yellen as chair of the Fed after her term expires in February.
