GE And United Airlines Struggle, Even As Stock Market Booms

It has been a tough week for two major American businesses: General Electric and United Airlines. GE saw its shares drop around 8 percent on Thursday after third-quarter earnings came out. The stock price of United Airlines also dropped Thursday after an earnings call with CEO Oscar Munoz.

The news from both companies comes during a week when the stock market hit record highs. Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with Michael Regan (@Reganonymous), senior editor at Bloomberg News.
