DACA Deal Eludes Congress As Government Shutdown Looms
PlayLawmakers in Washington are trying to pick up the pieces of a deal on immigration after inflammatory comments from President Trump derailed talks last week. Some Democrats have threatened to withhold their votes on a spending bill to keep the government open beyond Friday without protection for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, known as DACA.
