Science fiction shows are all the rage — with CBS' reboot of "Star Trek," HBO's "Westworld" and more, there's no shortage of TV in the genre.

NPR TV critic Eric Deggans (@Deggans) joins Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson to discuss Netflix's new show "Altered Carbon," which is set in the far future in a society where people can transfer their consciousness from one body to another.

This segment aired on February 2, 2018.
