The Supreme Court will hear arguments Monday in a case that could derail the funding and power of public-sector unions. At issue is whether it's constitutional to require public employees to pay fees to unions for bargaining on their behalf, even if those employees are not members.

Here & Now's Meghna Chakrabarti speaks with Emily Bazelon (@emilybazelon), staff writer at The New York Times Magazine and a fellow at Yale Law School.

This segment aired on February 23, 2018.
