Two war veterans looking for a new start, Daniel Freeman and Ken Deardorff, were the first and last people to take advantage of the Homestead Act. They're separated by a century, but united by a weathered tractor, dubbed "America's Most Famous Tractor" by the Homestead National Monument in Nebraska.

Getting the tractor on display involved excavating it from the Alaskan wilderness and restoring it for a new home in Nebraska. Mike Tobias (@mtobiasnetnews) from NET Nebraska reports.

This segment aired on April 5, 2018.
