Jeff Bezos is the richest man in modern history. He's worth $150 billion, about 2 million times more than the average American family. Economic writer Annie Lowrey says this massive concentration of wealth points to "policy failure" and is an indictment of the U.S. tax system.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with Lowrey (@AnnieLowrey), contributing editor at The Atlantic.

This segment aired on August 3, 2018.
