Prisoners across the country are going on strike Tuesday, demanding wide-ranging reforms. The strike comes on the 47th anniversary of the riot at Attica Correctional Facility when prisoners seized control of the prison near Buffalo, New York.

Here & Now's Robin Young speaks with Nicole Lewis (@Nikki_Lew), Tow Reporting Fellow for The Marshall Project, about the strike.

This segment aired on August 21, 2018.
