The Oasis Center, a Nashville nonprofit that helps vulnerable youth transition into adulthood, has added basic personal finance to its list of classes. Teenagers at the center are taught a range of life skills, from opening a bank account to the pros and cons of saving versus investing.

This summer, some of the teens there were recruited to try and help their peers learn how to budget. WPLN's Natasha Senjanovic (@nsenjanovic) reports.

This segment aired on August 28, 2018.
