Legendary folk singer Joan Baez talks with Here & Now's Robin Young about her "Fare Thee Well" tour, which she announced will be the last of her 60-year performing career. "The fact is the vocal cords are a muscle, and they're tired," Baez says. Also, young people born from the mid-1990s through the early 2000s are a coveted demographic. One consulting firm co-founded by Princeton University sophomore Nick Jain aims to help business and brands decode the age group. And jury selection is underway in the trial of Chicago police officer Jason Van Dyke, who faces first-degree murder charges for shooting black 17-year-old Laquan McDonald in October 2014. We get an update from WBEZ criminal justice reporter Patrick Smith. That and more, in hour one of Here & Now's Sept. 10, 2018 full broadcast.
