Scientists Hope Scents Will Help Hatchery Salmon Return Home To Spawn

Salmon raised in hatcheries sometimes go astray and don't return home to spawn. So researchers are experimenting with odors, and plan to leave a trail of scents to help salmon find their way back to the waters where they were born. Jes Burns (@radiojes) of Oregon Public Broadcasting reports.
