Another spending fight may be on the way. President Trump released a new budget proposal Monday. The proposal includes more than $8 billion to fund a border wall, increases military spending, and slashes domestic programs. But the proposal is only a political document with little sway in Congress. The Senate may even vote against the president's emergency declaration soon. NPR national political correspondent Mara Liasson (@MaraLiasson) joins Here & Now's Robin Young to discuss the week ahead in politics.

This segment aired on March 11, 2019.
