On Friday, mass shooters opened fire at two mosques, killing at least 49 people and injuring dozens more. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern called the gruesome attacks "one of New Zealand's darkest days." Authorities charged one person, detained three others and defused explosive devices in what appeared to be a carefully planned attack. Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson gets the latest from Radio New Zealand reporter Laura Dooney (@ljdooney) in Wellington.

This segment aired on March 15, 2019.
