Sea vessel noise can be deadly for orcas. When ships are too close, the sound can be deafening and make it difficult for the killer whales to hunt for food. Eilis O'Neill (@eilis_oneill) of KUOW reports on efforts to solve the problem of ship noise.

This segment aired on March 19, 2019.
