Attorney General William Barr did not appear before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday, despite threats from Rep. Jerry Nadler, the committee chairman, that Barr could face a contempt of Congress citation. On Wednesday, Barr testified for several hours before the Senate, defending his and President Trump's handling of the Mueller investigation.
