On Tuesday morning, Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed into law one of the most restrictive abortion bills in the country. The bill bans abortions after a doctor hears a fetal heartbeat at around six weeks of pregnancy, which is before most women know they're pregnant. Also, we hear from two USC students on the recent college admissions scandal. And, chef Kathy Gunst joins host Robin Young to celebrate spring with a rhubarb cake, a strawberry-rhubarb crumble and a caramelized maple-rhubarb soda. That and more, in hour one of Here & Now's May 7, 2019 full broadcast. This program aired on May 7, 2019.
