Alabama's state senate has delayed a vote on a bill that would be the strictest abortion ban in the country. If passed, the ban would criminalize the procedure for doctors, with certain exceptions. Also, New Yorker cartoonist Roz Chast illustrates New Yorker writer Patricia Marx' mother's sayings in the new book, "Why Don't You Write My Eulogy Now So I Can Correct It?: A Mother's Suggestions."
