Putin Addresses Low Wages, Sanctions During Annual Q&A

President Vladimir Putin took questions from Russians across the country on Thursday during his annual televised call-in show. He promised to boost spending on local programs and faced an array of complaints about low wages and pensions. Putin responded by spelling out plans to boost salaries for public sector workers.
