High-Tech Sleds Are The Backbone Of Next Big Arctic Expedition

This fall, climate scientists from around the world will sail into the Arctic Circle and get their ship stuck in the ice. They plan to drift for a year and go out on research sleds to gather data about how melting sea ice is affecting marine life and biodiversity.
