New Brush Fire Erupts in Ventura County As Southern California Battles Multiple Blazes

Another brush fire in Southern California has engulfed more than 8,000 acres in Ventura County, just northwest of Los Angeles.

The Maria Fire is the second major fire to ignite in Ventura County this week — the Easy Fire started Wednesday and has burned more than 1,800 acres so far.
