Southeast Alaska Community Takes Steps To Adapt To Drought

The island community of Metlakatla in southeast Alaska is a temperate rainforest but it’s struggling to deal with unusually dry conditions. The community has cut their water use dramatically and is using diesel fuel instead of hydropower for electricity.
