Facebook Bans Deepfake Videos But Disinformation Remains Rampant Online

Facebook says it's banning deepfakes, or videos manipulated with the intention to mislead.

The move comes as the company is under increasing pressure to crack down on disinformation ahead of the 2020 election, but it has already drawn criticism for not going far enough.
