'American Dirt' Publisher Cancels Book Tour

The publisher of the controversial new novel "American Dirt" has cancelled the remainder of the book tour for author Jeanine Cummins.

Citing safety concerns, Flatiron Books said in a statement that there were "threats of physical violence" against both the author and booksellers.
