In Washington state, the majority of the nine U.S. novel coronavirus deaths have been linked to the same place: a long-term care facility near Seattle.

Many others who have tested positive for COVID-19 in Washington have also had some sort of connection to the Life Care Center of Kirkland.

For more on the history of this facility, Here & Now's Tonya Mosley speaks with Mary Hudetz (@marymhudetz), an investigative reporter at The Seattle Times.

This segment aired on March 4, 2020.
