Prep for Prep, a nonprofit education program in New York City, helps students of color attend private schools but some argue that it fails to mitigate segregation in the city's public schools. We reexamine these types of programs with The New Yorker's Vinson Cunningham. Also, a new book tells the story of Massachusetts v. EPA, a watershed case for environmental law that was decided by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2007. We talk with author Richard J. Lazarus. That and more, in hour one of Here & Now's March 9, 2020, full broadcast. You can find more at hereandnow.org, follow us on Twitter and join the conversation on Facebook.

This program aired on March 9, 2020.
