New York City health care workers are using words like "apocalypse" and "war zone" to describe the toll the coronavirus is taking on their city and their hospitals. The city is the epicenter of the country's outbreak with over 23,000 cases and more than 365 deaths.

With the numbers still growing, there's increasing concern about shortages of both the protective gear needed by physicians and the machines needed to keep patients alive.

Host Jeremy Hobson talks to Jolion McGreevy, medical director of Mount Sinai's emergency department.

This segment aired on March 27, 2020.
