Los Angeles Braces For New York-Level Surge In Coronavirus Cases

California has the third-most COVID-19 cases in the country, behind New York and New Jersey. But the state's rate of infection is approaching that of New York, which has nearly 40,000 cases.

The largest concentration of California cases is in Los Angeles County. Now, state officials and hospitals are bracing for a New York-level surge as the president talks of opening up parts of the country. KPCC's Elly Yu (@ellywyu) talks to host Jeremy Hobson about the latest from L.A.
