Richmond, Virginia, Doctor On How Coronavirus Is Disproportionately Impacting Black Americans

In Richmond, Virginia, there have been around 300 cases of coronavirus and more than a dozen deaths.

Dr. Danny Avula, director of health districts in Richmond and Henrico, said this week that nearly all of the deaths in the city have been in the black community, which accounts for about 50% of the population.

Here & Now's Robin Young speaks with Dr. Avula about how the disease is disproportionately impacting black Americans.
