There are nearly 80 coronavirus vaccines under development — and that's a good thing because the world will need more than one to work to vaccinate the entire planet. KUOW's David Hyde has a story of three people in the Seattle area who are leading that effort. Also, this week marks 75 years since Victory in Europe Day, the end of World War II in Europe. We speak with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Rick Atkinson, who wrote a three-volume history of the war. That and more, in hour one of Here & Now's May 8, 2020, full broadcast.
