Rural Airline Bankruptcy Leaves Native Alaskans With Medical Emergencies Stranded

When RavnAir Group declared bankruptcy in April, many Alaska Native villages were left without mail delivery and transportation, including emergency medical transport. The airline blames its demise on the travel restrictions that many communities put in place to protect themselves from COVID-19.
