Tokyo Has Coronavirus Surge Instead Of Olympics

Tokyo is seeing a record number of coronavirus cases this week. And the surge comes as the city and Japan as a whole was supposed to be celebrating the 2020 Olympics.

Host Tonya Mosley speaks with the BBC's Rupert Wingfield Hayes in Tokyo.

This BBC interview can be heard in the Here & Now podcast or with the WBUR app.
