Health care has taken on a new urgency since the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg leaves a vacant seat, just as the court is expected to rule on whether the Affordable Care Act is constitutional.

The president has also made overturning Roe V. Wade a priority in his handling of reproductive health care, while Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden supports both the ACA and access to safe, legal abortion.

Here & Now's Robin Young talks to Larry Levitt, executive vice president for health policy at the Kaiser Family Foundation about these issues, as well as drug pricing, Medicaid and coronavirus response.

This segment aired on September 24, 2020.
