Weekly Unemployment Claims Fall Below 800,000 For First Time Since March

Last week, 787,000 Americans filed new claims for unemployment benefits, marking the first time that level has fallen below 800,000 in a single week since mid-March.

Exxon Mobil also plans to announce layoffs as the oil market continues to falter during the pandemic. Here & Now's Peter O'Dowd speaks with MSNBC anchor and economics correspondent Ali Velshi.
