As Americans who haven't voted yet head to the polls Tuesday, we bring in historian Julian Zelizer to put the 2020 election into historical perspective.

And there's a lot to talk about, including unprecedented early voting, questions about when we'll get a result and possible legal challenges. There's also the fact that this election is taking place during a pandemic that has killed more than 230,000 Americans.
