San Antonio's Hospitality Industry Struggles To Recover

Cities that rely on the hospitality industry have been hard hit economically since the beginning of the pandemic. San Antonio, Texas, is one of them.

Many hospitality workers, who are disproportionally Black and Brown women, have lost their jobs and are struggling to stay afloat. As the city tries to recover, it's investing millions of dollars to retrain its workforce.
