European Union Mulls Sanctions Against Russia After Navalny Protests

Foreign ministers of the European Union met on Monday to consider new sanctions against Russia after police in Moscow detained thousands of protesters over the weekend. Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused Western countries of encouraging rallies in support of opposition leader Alexei Navalny.
