Burmese Military Charges Deposed Leader Aung San Suu Kyi

The Burmese military is prosecuting that country's civilian leader Aung San Suu Kyi on obscure charges that could ban her from holding political office again.

The military seized Suu Kyi and the country's president on Monday, deposing Myanmar's democratically elected government and plunging the southeast Asian nation into political turmoil.
