WHO Releases Report On Investigation Of COVID-19 Origins In Wuhan

There's evidence that in December 2019, the coronavirus was already circulating beyond a market in Wuhan, China, a place come to be thought of as the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak.

That's one of the insights announced Tuesday by a group of scientists convened by The World Health Organization that has been working in Wuhan for the past month, investigating the origins of the pandemic. The head of the team, Peter Ben Embarek, also said it was "very unlikely" that the virus leaked from a laboratory.
