Taliban Gains Ground In Afghanistan

The Taliban say they have captured a strategic district near the Afghan capital Kabul after intense clashes. This comes ahead of a three-day ceasefire declared by both the Taliban and the government for the Muslim religious festival of Eid al-Fitr.
