Pablo Escobar's invasive hippos could be relocated from Colombia

The latest idea to manage the invasive hippos descended from those that escaped from Pablo Escobar's ranch is to move them to other countries. The plan is controversial, in part because it would be very difficult to capture and transport dozens of hippos, and in part because the hippos have become a local tourist attraction, supporting a small but growing industry.
